If you want to get promoted, post it here and the admin will review you. Remember there are prerequisites for some ranks.
Trainee:
A trainee is one that has just started out in the sim, and needs help. We'll give you tips, and advice on how to start the engine, taxi, take off, land, and in flight maneuvers. Don't feel bad about being a trainee, the most expirienced flyer was there at one point
Private:
The Private is one who is skilled at flying, yet does not have an officer's rank. This is what the majority of the flyers are.
Wingman:
The traditional military definition of a “Wingman” refers to the pattern in which fighter jets fly. There is always a lead aircraft and another which flies off the right wing of and behind the lead. This second pilot is called the “Wingman” because he or she primarily protects the lead by “watching his back.”
Junior Officer:
Overview
Junior Officers command a Section of Aircraft. A Section consists of 3 aircraft.
Abtaining Junior Officer
To Abtain the rank of Junior Officer, you must acomplish a set of maneuvers to see it you qualify. These are all included in one test. There must also be open slots for this rank.
Test Goals
1. Land 2 times in a row on a runway with a PC-7 and an F-15C Eagle.
2. Be able to execute the
1. aileron roll
2. barrel roll
3. the break
After Test
1. You will be assigned your 2 other mates that you will lead
2. You may choose your wingman, if one has not already asked to be your wingman
3. Name your section
4. Choose your Section's slogan
Captain
The Captain is responisble for the leadership of his two sections, called a Flight. A Flight consists of 6 aircraft.
Abtaining Captain
To Abtain the rank of Captain, you must acomplish a set of maneuvers to see it you qualify. These are all included in one test. There must also be open slots for this rank.
Test Goals
1. You must have already had the rank of Junior Officer
2. Land 2 times in a row on a runway with a PC-7 and an F-15C Eagle, and then once, with an aircraft of your choice.
3. Be able to execute the
1. Split S
2. high speed yoyo
3. slow speed yoyo
After Test
1. You will be assigned your 6 mates
2. You may choose your wingman
3. You may name your Flight
4. You may choose your Flight's Slogan
